GOLDSBORO — Tabatha Kay Smith of Goldsboro and Christopher Nolan Faircloth of Grantham exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 29 at 5 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Bill Rose officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John David and Brenda Brogden Smith of Dudley and the granddaughter of the late Wymond L. and Velma Grady Smith of Dudley, Katie Goff Brogden of Dudley and the late James Robert Brogden Sr. of Dudley.

She is employed as an accounts receivable manager at Smithfield Family Dentistry in Smithfield.

The groom is the son of Michael Lee and Teresa Martin Faircloth of Grantham and the grandson of the late Hubert and Mary Faircloth of Grantham, Ransom Martin of Princeton and Grace Martin of Rosewood.

He is employed as a service technician at AT&T in Goldsboro.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory satin Rhapsody gown by Symphony adorned with pearls and rhinestones accented with claret trim on the bodice and train. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory and red roses accented with baby’s breath and lemon leaf. The groom wore an ivory and red rose boutonniere.

The sister of the bride, Brittney Nicole Smith of Dudley, served as matron of honor, while Crystal Leigh Faircloth of Greenville, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid.

Michael Lee Faircloth of Grantham served as his son’s best man.

Wayne Martin of Rosewood, uncle of the groom, was the groomsman, and Brandin Gage Bass of Rosewood, son of the bride, was junior groomsman.

The daughter of the bride, Brianna Gray Bass of Rosewood, was the junior bridesmaid.

Ushers were Terry Price of Grantham, friend of the groom, and Jonathan Lewis of Calypso, friend of the couple.

Harley Brooke Faircloth of Rosewood, daughter of the groom, was flower girl. Presiding at the register was Blair Kennedy of Faison, friend of the couple. Jamie Hanchey of Warsaw, friend of the couple, distributed programs.

Kent Taylor, friend of the couple, provided a program of wedding music.

The bride’s parents gave a reception dinner at the church immediately following the wedding ceremony.

The couple resides in Rosewood.

They provided a rehearsal dinner at First Pentecostal Holiness Church on March 28 for their families and the wedding party.
