Jones - Morawski
Mary Elizabeth Morawski and Curtis Samuel Jones exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 1 at 4:30 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Michael G. and Brenda Gunderson Morawski of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Sylvester Morawski, Elsie Sheets, Mary E. “Ray” Gunderson and the late Col. Lindy C. Gunderson of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2007 and is pursuing a degree in special education in Kentucky.
The groom is the son of Aubrey E. and Teresa Marie Jones of Dudley and the grandson of Elizabeth Jones of Dudley and Roger and Carol Payne.
He graduated from Spring Creek High School in 2006. He is serving in the Army as a specialist at Fort Campbell, Ky.
Sheila Hamilton directed the wedding. Ernest Hamilton offered an inspirational prayer.
The couple reside in Oak Grove, Ky.
A celebrational luau will be held in June.
Events held before the wedding included a cookout April 5 at the home of the groom’s parents.
