Lindsey Brooke Price and Aaron Lane Sanders exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. at Old Free Gospel Church, with the Rev. Brian Rogers officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Skip Price and Cami Price of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Jack and Charlene Spencer of Pikeville and Stella Price and the late Richard Price of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2003 and Wayne Community College in 2007 and is pursuing a degree in elementary education.

The groom is the son of Horace Jr. and Pat Sanders of LaGrange and the grandson of Mary Best and the late Fred Best of Greenville and Lois Sanders and the late Horace Sanders of Jacksonville.

He graduated from Spring Creek High School in 2003 and East Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a gown of white satin with a Queen Ann neckline and long tapered sleeves. The bodice was embellished with Alencon lace, pearls and sequins and ended in a Basque waistline. The back closed with English beaded net. The full skirt was adorned with beaded lace motifs that cascaded into a cathedral train.

Her headpiece was a rhinestone tiara accented with pearls that extended into a two-tiered veil of silk illusion adorned with rhinestone crystals.

Brandi Matthews was her sister’s matron of honor.

Horace Sanders Jr. was his son’s best man.

Ushers were Clint Sanders, Matt Sanders and Jeremy Sanders, brothers of the groom, and Chandler Matthews and Caleb Matthews, nephews of the bride.

Alansyn Sanders, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Caleb Matthews, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Presiding at the register was Ashley Grant, cousin of the bride. Clay Matthews, nephew of the bride, and Lexi Jernigan, friend of the bride, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Gary Sutton.

A reception was held Jan. 19th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in LaGrange.

Events held before the wedding included a shower Dec. 30 at Free Gospel Church hosted by Brandi Matthews, sister of the bride, and Sherry Layden, friend of the bride; a shower Dec. 28 at the home of the couple hosted by the groom’s mother and Angie Sanders, sister-in-law of the groom; and a Christmas shower Dec. 10 hosted by the 2nd grade staff at Spring Creek Elementary.
