MOUNT OLIVE — Jessica Lynn Blackburn of Seven Springs and Randall Douglas Kornegay exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Alum Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Geoffrey A. Carter officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Franklin and Robbie Lynn Blackburn of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Dorothy Frances and the late Thomas Franklin Blackburn of Kingstree, S.C., and Virginia Carol and the late Robert Merrill Bass of Hazlehurst, Ga.

She attends Wayne Community College’s medical assisting program. She is a member of the Medical Assisting Students Association. She is employed as a secretary at McF.E.T.s Inc. and is co-owner of Triple K Auto Repair.

The groom is the son of Robert Douglas Kornegay and Robin Renee Holland of Seven Springs, the stepson of Deborah Oakes of Snow Hill and Gregory Holland of Seven Springs and the grandson of Marlowe Kornegay of Seven Springs, Annette Gurley of Warsaw and the late Randall and Henrietta Whitfield Blizzard of Mount Olive.

He is owner of Triple K Auto Repair.

The bride was escorted by Rusty and Rylan Kornegay and given in marriage by her family.

Brandi Lynn McCullen was matron of honor.

Doug Kornegay was best man.

Ushers were Ryan and Russell Kornegay, brothers of the groom.

Kaylie Sanderson, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.

Caroline Carter directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held. A two-tiered wedding cake with butter cream icing was served.

The couple reside in Seven Springs.
