Horton - Kley
GOLDSBORO — Jessica Abigail Kley of Goldsboro and Jeffrey Thomas Horton of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 3 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Webster James officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William Charles Kley of Portland, Mich., and Elaine Phelps Van Hoy of Goldsboro; the stepdaughter of Charlie Van Hoy and Desiree Kley; and the granddaughter of Roberta and the late Raymond Kley of Okemos, Mich., and Dr. Ernest and Margaret Phelps of Goldsboro.
She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication. She was a member of the National Broadcasting Society and Alpha Epsilon Rho Honors Fraternity. She is employed as a business development manager at Geographic Technologies Group.
The groom is the son of Richard Guy and Jeannie Horton of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Orville Horton of Tamarac, Fla.; Treva Horton of Bartlesville, Okla.; and the late LaVerne and Eugenia Clark of Oklahoma City, Okla.
He attended Charles B. Aycock High School and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Communication Studies degree. He was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He is a Chamber of Commerce ambassador. He is employed as a marketing director at Chevrolet Cadillac of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Gina Bryant was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Erika Farthing, Laurie Sasser, Stephanie Horton, Kristin White and Sarah Dockery.
Jon Horton was best man.
Groomsmen were Jon Hooks, Ty Frederick, Brandon Wooten, Chip Kley and Adam Butler.
Presiding at the register were Banks and Deborah Peacock.
A program of wedding music was provided by Elizabeth Van Hoy, pianist, and Clark Peacock, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Pupetta’s.
