BROWNS SUMMIT — Carolyn Alexis Daniels and Dustin Dale Laney exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony on Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. at Tuscany Gardens with the Rev. Ronald Grillo officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Cathy Lovell Hardee of Oak Island and Bryan Anthony Daniels of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the granddaughter of Betty Taylor of Oak Island and the late Clara Daniels of Dillon, S.C.

She is a graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is employed with the Encore Group of Winston-Salem as a product development and marketing coordinator.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Stevenson of Pikeville and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Yount of Terrell, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams of Salisbury, Charles Laney of Maiden and the late Janie Lineberger Laney of Maiden.

He is a graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He is employed with the Bethany Group of Winston-Salem as the director of leasing.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Di Moore was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kadie Hildebran, Michelle Holmes, Tonya Wellington and Lauren Veauthur, friends of the bride.

Gregg Stevenson was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Zach Laney, brother of the groom, Charlie Moore, brother-in-law of the bride, and Dustin Smith and Ryan Parker, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Griffin Hardee, brother of the bride, and Rob Anderson and Jason Davis, friends of the groom.

Cameron Moore, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Cindy Miller directed the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at Tuscany Gardens.

After a wedding trip to Tulum, Mexico, the couple will reside in High Point.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Sept. 21 at the Greens Supper Club in Greensboro.
