Ashley Marie Holland and Sean Anthony Banks of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. at Rosewood First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Bostian officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph Harvey Threewitts and Deborah Jean Holland of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Beulah A. Threewitts and Donald and Gloria Jean Neal of Goldsboro.

She graduate from Rosewood High in 2003 and attends Wayne Community College for a nursing degree. She is employed as a phlebotomist at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of J.D. and Laverne Bright Banks of Maysville and the grandson of the late Raymond and Cora Banks, Beulah Bright and the late John Bright of Maysville.

He graduated from White Oak High School in Jacksonville. He is self-employed at High Standard Cleaning Inc.

The bride was escorted by her brother, J.D. Holland, and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown of white chiffon. The ruched bodice had a plunging halter neckline and an empire waistline bejeweled with sprays of bugle beading and crystals. The adorned bodice extended into an A-line full-length skirt. The back bodice was embellished with a corset back with satin streamers and fell into a chapel train

Hillarie Williams was her friend’s matron of honor, while Melissa Holland, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kimberly Summerell, cousin of the bride, and Chandra Meadows and Haile Meadows, friends of the couple.

Dayton Meadows was his friend’s best man.

Groomsmen were Matthew Carter and Date Meadows, friends of the couple; Scott Jones, nephew of the groom; and Rex Threewitts, brother of the bride.

Ushers were John Mark Hill, Bryan Jones and J.D. Baker, friends of the bride, and Kyle Summerell, cousin of the bride.

Rylee Joe Myers was flower girl. Chase Bartlett was ringbearer.

Nichole Hill directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Ragan Threewitts. Tabitha Smith distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Vick, pianist, and Jeff Lane, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Steak Barn.

The couple reside in Rosewood.

Events held before the wedding included a shower Sept. 29 at the home of the bride’s mother hosted by family and friends.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Rosewood First Baptist Church fellowship hall.
