GRAHAM — Jaime Lane Hunter and James Bradley Waters exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship, with Pastor David Neff officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Teena Lane Hunter and the late William Edward Hunter of Graham and the granddaughter of the late Chester Carl and Elsie Ray Hunter of Graham and the late Calvin C. and Ruth Thorton Hall of Fairfax, Va.

She graduated from Graham High School and attends Mount Olive College. She is employed as a med tech at Alterra Sterling House.

The groom is the son of Ronald Edward and Paula Perkins Waters of Goldsboro, the grandson of Edward Earl Waters, the late Ellen Ward Waters, Virginia Taylor and the late Walter James Perkins of Goldsboro and the stepgrandson of Marie Waters.

He graduated from Rosewood High School and Guilford College of Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is employed at Nationwide Insurance.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Jon Hunter, and given in marriage by her mother.

She wore a white corset bodice with clear straps and a re-embroidered laced apron back skirt with a detachable cathedral train.

Julie Brown was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Amanda Terrell and Dana Terrell, friends of the bride, and Jill Robertson, Erica Robertson and Kelsei Robertson, cousins of the bride.

Ronald Waters was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Ronald Waters Jr. and Lee Waters, brothers of the groom, and Brian Smith, Drew Barid and Charlie Morris, friends of the groom.

Hallie Brown, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Hunter Brown, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Hannah Clapp and Jane Thacker directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Claire Williams. Payton Boyer distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sharon Lester, pianist, and Kandis Weeks, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Ramada Inn in Burlington.

After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a couple’s shower at the home of Travis and Jaimee Weeks hosted by Mary and Jaimee Weeks; a bridal luncheon at the home of the bride’s mother hosted by the bride’s mother; and a bridal shower at the home of Jill Robertson hosted by Julie Brown and Ms. Robertson.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Gate City Chop House of Burlington.
