Christine Marie Jones and Jeffrey Allen Mozingo of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 26 at 4 p.m. at the home of Donald and Nancy Mozingo, with the Rev. Charles Boyd officiating.

The bride is the daughter of George Rufus and Helen Marie Jones of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Sam Patrick and Christine Moore Jones of Goldsboro and the late Gordon Wesley and Eulah Frances Bynum of Jacksonville.

She is a 1999 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2006 graduate of Wayne Community with a degree in information systems network administration and support. She is employed with medical records at Goldsboro Medical Clinic.

The groom is the son of Donald Martin Mozingo of Goldsboro and Janice Carol Kornegay of Pink Hill, the stepson of Nancy Joann Mozingo of Goldsboro and the late Glenwood Kornegay of Pink Hill and the grandson of Frances Gaynelle and the late Roy Martin Mozingo of Mount Olive and the late Charlie Deaver Sr. and Rachel Gautier Deaver of Deep Run.

He is a 1999 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. He is employed as an equipment Operator III at the Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown of white satin with spaghetti straps and a V-cut back. The fitted A-line gown was embroidered with silver sequins that wrapped down the front and back.

Her headpiece was a tiara of pearls and rhinestones.

She carried a bouquet of white roses with white ribbon accent on the stems.

Taylor Davis, niece of the bride, and Jessica Hoffman, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Christopher Mozingo, son of the couple, was ringbearer.

Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Lori Mozingo, sister-in-law of the groom.

Special helpers were Paul Brinkley, Donna Mills, Cecil and Wilma Williams, Teresa and Kevin Waters, Caren Wells, Curt and Michael Douglas, Daniel and Cecila Anderson, Todd Jones, Sharon Edwards, George and Helen Jones, Donald and Nancy Mozingo and Keith Grady.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of George and Helen Jones.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a lingerie party May 17 at Texas Steak House hosted by Lisa Jennette.
