Batten - Wadsworth
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Julie Renee Wadsworth of Pikeville and Jonathan Edward Batten exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. at Together Forever Wedding Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Mitchell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Jean Wadsworth of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Carl H. and Nina Wadsworth and Venitia Thorne of Goldsboro and the late Marvin Lancaster.
The groom is the son of David and Marie Batten of Pikeville and the grandson of Estelle Throckmorton of Kinston, the late Milfred Batten and Judy Cogdell of Angier and the late Henry Cogdell.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple reside in Pikeville.
