Caitlyn Rae Narron and Christopher Daniel Weeks exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 18th at 6 p.m. at Bethel Church, with Steve Holder officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry Austin Narron and Linda Narron McCaskill of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late John Arter Narron Sr. and Amanda Vileigh Narron of Goldsboro and Enda Flynn Duffe and the late Willard D. Duffe of New Castle, Pa.

She is a 2003 graduate of Rosewood High School and attends East Carolina University for a degree in family and consumer sciences education.

The groom is the son of Christopher Marvin and Rose Taylor Weeks of Goldsboro and the grandson of Glenniece Hires Weeks of Midway, Ga., the late Claude Marin Weeks of Goldsboro, Duncan Wesley Taylor of Kenly and the late Mary Marie Watkins Langley of Princeton.

He graduated from Wayne Christian School in 2001 and attends North Carolina Wesleyan College for a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting. He is employed at Bethel Church.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a champagne strapless, mermaid style gown with a scalloped chapel-length train. It had an ivory lace overlay with pearls throughout.

The headpiece was a chapel-length, champagne veil with pearls throughout.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory roses wrapped with strands of pearls.

Callie Narron, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Clare Narron and Cara Narron, sisters of bride.

Christopher Weeks was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Brian Weeks, brother of the groom, and Connor Narron, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Cody Scrufari, Dylan Jones, Drew McGowan and Justin Ferrel.

Kailey Kincaid, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. Matthew Holder was ringbearer.

Teresa Pilkington, step sister of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brittany Thompson. Tana and Tressa Horne distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Rich Holder, pianist, and Steve and Sharon Holder, Allen Moore, Melinda Moore, and Blake Holder, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a shower at Bethel Church family life center hosted by the groom’s family; a kitchen gadget shower at the home of Rachel Sue Price hosted by cousins of the bride; a lingerie shower at the home of Kristie Howell hosted by Kristie Howell and Melinda Moore, friends of the couple; a shower at Rosewood First Baptist family life center hosted by the bride’s mother and sisters; and a bridesmaids’ luncheon at the home of Joan Narron Hardy, aunt of the bride, hosted by aunts and cousins of the bride.

The groom’s family held a rehearsal dinner at Bethel Church family life center.
