CAMP SPRINGS, Md. — Ryan Dishea Martin of Enterprise, Ala., and Isaac LaVon Underwood exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. at Andrews Air Force Base, with Prophetess Betty Bigsby officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Doris Martin of Waldorf, Md., and the granddaughter of Eddie J. Martin and Willie Mae Martin of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Anna Evans and the late Willie Evans of Smyrna, Del.

She is a 2000 graduate of Enterprise High School and a 2004 graduate of TESST College of Alexandria, Va.

The groom is the son of Felicia Jones of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Richard Lafayette of Charleston, S.C., and Vivian Christine Franklin of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1997 and attends the University of Maryland-University College for a Bachelor of Science degree in computer technology. He is employed as an administrative chief with the Marine Corps.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her father.

Latasha Teague was matron of honor, while Chasity Bell was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Donica Brown, Rasheba Kincey and Marcia Evans.

Redonno Carmon was best man.

Groomsmen were Richard Young, Anthony Martin and Lesile Broadhurst.

Ushers were Jaylen Evans and Nygal Drayton.

Cierra Teague was the junior bridesmaid.

Raquel Rawlings was flower girl. QuiShawn Underwood was ringbearer.

Cynthia Evans and Florence Flournay directed the wedding.

Tuesday Hairston, Kesha Latson, Jessica Rivera and Sarita Brown were special helpers.

A program of wedding music was provided by Evangelist Wilma J. Artis, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Holiday Inn’s Damon’s Grill in Waldorf.

The couple reside in Tarawa Terrace.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower hosted by aunts of the bride; a bridal shower hosted by WEC; and a bachelorette party hosted by friends.
