Gamble - Faucette
Amy Kristen Faucette and Frank Robert Gamble III of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, with Gene Hood officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Anita K. Faucette and the late Robert L. Faucette of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Leroy and Ruby Faucette of Mount Olive and Robert and Mary Underwood of Ocklawaha, Fla.
She is a 1998 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2002 graduate of Wayne Community College. She is employed as a nurse at Wayne Urological Associates.
The groom is the son of Frank Gamble Jr. of Springfield, Pa., and Brenda Murphy of Upland, Pa., and the grandson of Elizabeth Gamble and the late Frank Gamble Sr. of Havertown, Pa., and John and Margaret Kummerer of Brookhaven, Pa.
He graduated from Springfield High School in 1999. He is serving in the Air Force.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Don Kyzer, and given in marriage by her mother.
She wore a wore a pearl matte satin strapless wedding gown. The bodice of the empire gown was embellished with seed pearls, clear sequins and crystals. The modified A-line skirt flowed into a semi-cathedral train with a matching band of embroidery along the bottom of the skirt and the train.
Her tiara with seed pearls and crystals was attached to a fingertip-length veil adorned with crystals.
The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and coffee berries.
Christina Faucette served as her sister-in-law’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tracey Drake, Dana Sutton and Jessica Cameron, friends of the bride.
David Gamble was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Drake, J.T. Jordan and Clinton Cameron, friends of the groom.
Abbey and Margaux Pope, friends of the bride, were junior bridesmaids. Junior groomsmen were Robert and Ryan Faucette, nephews of the bride.
Sherll Barnes directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Shelly Willis. Anna Kierski and Lucy Bland distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Auleana Barnes, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a Christmas shower Oct. 29 hosted by co-workers at Carolina Adult and Pediatric Medicine; a miscellaneous shower Oct. 22 at Sleepy Creek Country Club hosted by Chris and Lee Faucette and Sherll Barnes; a honeymoon shower Oct. 7 hosted by Tracey Drake and Dana Sutton; and a bridal shower Sept. 22 hosted by co-workers at Wayne Urological Associates.
A rehearsal dinner held at the Country Skillet.
