Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster

SAULSTON — Susan Marie Bass and Tony Haywood Lancaster of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents, with William “Bill” English officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Hugh and Patsy Bass of Saulston and the granddaughter of the late J.B. and Mabel Bass of Patetown and Elizabeth Lancaster Mobley and the late Dewey Lancaster of Goldsboro.

The groom is the son of the late Eddie and Diane Wainwright Lancaster of Pikeville and the grandson of the late Ralph and Doris Lancaster and Ruby Amerson of Pikeville and the late L.D. Wainwright of Farmville.

Brittany Sasser served as her aunt’s maid of honor.

Jamie Long was his uncle’s best man.

Kay Sasser, sister of the bride, was the honorary bridesmaid.

Elizabeth Golimowski directed the wedding.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family held a reception. Amber Long served the wedding cake. Rose Webber poured punch.

After a wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
