Krehely - Rogerson
GREENVILLE — Alison Renee Rogerson and Bradley Kent Krehely were married Sept. 2 at 5 p.m. at Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ray Broadwell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William and Susan Rogerson of Greenville and the granddaughter of the late William and Frances Rogerson, Madeline Nancy Paschal and the late William Paschal of Durham.
She is a 1997 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School, a 2001 and 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. She was presented at the 1998 North Carolina Terpsichorean Club Debutante Ball. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist at Wake Med Hospital.
The groom is the son of Robert and Stephanie Krehely of Plains, Pa., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Krehely, Ann Wayslow and the late Stephen Wayslow of Swoyersville, Pa.
He graduated from Drew University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2003 with a Juris Doctorate degree. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. He is employed as an attorney at the North Carolina General Assembly.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore an ivory strapless chapel-length gown decorated with embroidery and crystals.
Margaret Linn Brewer of Washington D.C. served her friend as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Pender Gaskins of Washington D.C., Corey Allison Quinton of Goldsboro and Julie Amanda Watson of Durham, friends of the bride.
Robert John Krehely of Madison, Pa., was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Gary Albert Anderson of Wilbraham, Mass., and Matthew Robert Coburn of Philadelphia, Pa., friends of the groom, and Michael Stephen Kostelansky of Washington D.C., cousin of the groom.
Elizabeth Little was flower girl. Jared Krehely and Jack Krehely were ringbearers.
Presiding at the register was Mary Laine Rouse, friend of the bride. Selena Helms and Leslie Johnson, friends of the bride, and Michelle Kostelansky, cousin of the groom, distributed programs.
Scripture readers were Melissa Kostelansky, cousin of the groom, and Chris Thompson, cousin of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Steve Cagle, organist; and Thomas Shaw, vocalist; and Steven Shaw, friend of the couple, violinist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rock Springs in Greenville. Thomas and Darlene Medlin greeted guests.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Cary.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal tea and shower in Wake Forest hosted by the bride’s aunt; a bridal tea and shower in Warsaw hosted by Ellen Brewer, Margaret Brewer, Georgia Longest and Mary Laine Rouse; a miscellaneous shower at Wake Med Hospital hosted by co-workers of the bride; a tea and shower in Raleigh hosted by Darlene Medlin and Sandy Watson; a bachelorette weekend in Wrightsville Beach hosted by the bridesmaids; a bridesmaids’ luncheon at the home of the bride’s parents hosted by Lacy Jenkins and Ann Taylor; and a farewell brunch the day after the wedding at the home of the bride’s parents hosted by her parents.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Greenville Country Club.
