DUDLEY — Kristen Renee Daniels and Joshua James Boatright of Green-ville were united in holy matrimony May 13 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Johnny Sasser officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Emmaus Baptist Church.

Chris and Jennie Daniels of Seven Springs are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Eva Wall and the late Edgar Wall of Mount Olive and the late John and Verdie Daniels of Goldsboro.

Parents of the groom are Jim and Diane Boatright of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of the late Joe and Delores Pullen of Seven Springs, Jane Decker of Crawfordsville, Ind., and Jim and Linda Boatright of Poland, Ind.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a fitted bodice covered in beads and pearls. The white silk organza over satin skirt with embroidered flowers flowed into a chapel-length train trimmed with two rows of satin.

For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered fingertip veil of silk illusion trimmed in satin attached to a headband of crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with pearl insets and streamers of white ribbon.

Jeanenne Mumford of Goldsboro, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Ashley Strickland of Seven Springs, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Adams of Goldsboro, sister of the groom, and Brandy Hines of Seven Springs and Jennifer Raynor of Kenansville, friends of the bride.

Jim Boatright was his son’s best man. Ushers were Jimmy Li of Goldsboro and Matt Nunn of Dudley, friends of the groom. Groomsmen wee Kevin Boatright of Goldsboro, brother of the groom, and Kevin Albritton of Kinston, Luis Miranda of Seven Springs and Stanley Kelly Jr. of Mount Olive, friends of the groom.

Claudia Wiggins of Mount Olive, cousin of the bride, and Diana Jackson of Seven Springs, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Hayden Boatright of Goldsboro, brother of the groom, was ring bearer.

Shannon Wiggins of Mount Olive, cousin of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Jonathan and Reneha Arnau of Seven Springs, cousins of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Judy Jewell, pianist, and Debbie Prunest, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Bryson City and the mountains, the couple will reside in Greenville.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Spring Creek High School. She attends Pitt Community College’s radiography program.

The groom graduated from home school in 2003. He is employed as youth pastor at Emmaus Baptist Church and as a professional BMX rider with Keith King Bike Team.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family held a reception in the church fellowship hall. Attendants were Bobby Jean Dixon, Belita Whitman and Penny Holmes, aunts of the bride.

On May 6, the groom’s father held a bachelor party at his home.

Jeanenne Mumford held a bachelorette party May 5 and 6 in Wilmington.

On April 30, the bride’s family held a bridal shower at the home of Eva Wall, grandmother of the bride.

A bridal shower was held April 2 at Emmaus Church fellowship hall.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Ryan’s Steakhouse. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
