MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Catherine Rose Davis of Goldsboro and Wayne Elliott Williams of Pikeville exchanged promises March 11 at 4 p.m.

Terry Grainger officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Wedding Chapel By The Sea.

Lorraine Ham Sasser of Kinston is the mother of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Rosa Lee Ham Hinson and the late Joseph Cleveland Ham of Kinston.

Okalee Hollifield Stephens of Lake Wales, Fla., and the late Mac L. Williams of Hendersonville are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Elliott and Maude Hollifield of Spruce Pine and the late Otto and Lona Corbin Williams of Hendersonville.

Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her uncle, Wilson Ham, the bride wore a white satin gown with a halter neckline. The bodice was decorated with beaded Alencon lace appliqués and a corset-style lace down the back. The skirt had a natural waistline complemented with matching beaded Alencon lace appliqué along the front. The back had an apron split with an insert of lace and flowed into a semi-cathedral train.

For her headpiece, she chose a crystal-trimmed tiara.

Crystal Rose Conner, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gloria Kay Rouse of Pasadena, Md., cousin of the bride, and Sheila Jean Sutton of LaGrange, friend of the couple.

Myles Potter and David Ellis of Goldsboro were their grandfather’s best men. Tim Ham, cousin of the bride, was the groomsman.

Maddison Mooring, granddaughter of the groom, was flower girl. John Harrison Gainous, friend of the couple, was ring bearer.

Jennifer Pritchett-Gainous, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Richard K. Gainous, friend of the couple.

A program of wedding music was provided by Tim Ham, cousin of the bride, and Gloria Kay Rouse, cousin of the bride, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach and Savannah, Ga., and a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in Pikeville.

The bride is employed as a store manager with ICI Paints.

The groom is retired from the Air Force.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Intracoastal Ballroom of Myrtle Beach.

On March 10, family and friends of the couple held bachelor and bachelorette parties in Myrtle Beach.

The couple held a rehearsal dinner March 9 at the Steak Barn.

On Feb. 5, the bride’s mother, Joyce Ham, aunt of the bride, and Cyrstal Conner, daughter of the bride, held a bridal shower.
