WILMINGTON — Mary Lindsay McMichael and William Warren Prickett were married Saturday, March 18.

The Rev. Elizabeth Roberts officiated at the ceremony at Grace United Methodist Church.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Josephus Jackson McMichael Jr. of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Scott Waters and the late Earl Sutton Waters of Goldsboro and Mildred Swaim McMichael and the late Josephus Jackson McMichael of Winston-Salem.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Sylvester Prickett Jr. of Wilmington. He is the grandson of William Black Warren and the late Dodie Gardner Warren of Wrightsville Beach and the late Dr. and Mrs. Carlton Sylvester Prickett of Burlington.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Kimberly Haire Giddens of Hobokin, N.J., and Nicole Shelby Roche of Wilmington were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Carter Palmer Benton, Carrie Ratliff Herstine and Louisa Lewis Lee of Wilmington.

Carlton Sylvester Prickett Jr. was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Carlton Sylvester Prickett III of New York, N.Y., brother of the groom; James Phillip Dorroll of Wilmington, cousin of the groom; and Russell McDonald Gribbs of Charlotte and Robert Powell Holding IV of Vancouver, Canada. Ushers were Emmet Crow Stovall and Harold Alexus Crow of Wilmington, James Lawrence Hiatt III of Kernersville and Josephus Jackson McMichael III of Mount Olive.

Alexandra Brooks Lee of Wilmington was flower girl.

Presiding at the register were Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Eason Bryan III. Laura King Bowers of Asheville was reader.

A program of wedding music was provided by Judy Siebold, organist, and Jackson Norvell, trumpeter.

After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Wilmington.

On March 17, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Cape Fear Country Club.

Friends held a party March 17.

On March 17, Margaret Casey of Winston-Salem and Edna Marshall of Charlotte held a bridesmaids’ luncheon at Blue Water of Wrightsville Beach.
