Wellmer - Hawk
Mary Leslie Hawk became the bride of Dean Russell Wellmer Saturday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m.
The Rev. David Hall officiated at the private double-ring ceremony at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Wilton Charles Joyner of Farmville and the late Mr. Joyner. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leslie Walston Sr. of Walstonburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Joyner of Farmville.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Charles Wellmer of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Ryan Russell Wellmer and Kyle Matthew Wellmer were their father’s best men.
Ann Matthew Hawk, daughter of the bride, was flower girl. Cory Dean Wellmer, son of the groom, was ring bearer.
The couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is a graduate of Meredith College. She is employed as a teacher at Eastern Wayne Elementary School.
The groom is serving in the Air Force stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB.
