Stephenson - Summerlin
TOPSAIL BEACH — Christi Suzanne Summerlin of Mount Olive and Jeffrey Todd Stephenson were married Sept. 23 at 6 p.m.
Terry Suther officiated at the double-ring beach ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Sue Holmes Jennette of Mount Olive and Aldon Bryant Summerlin of LaGrange. She is the stepdaughter of Donald Jennette and JoAnn Summerlin and the granddaughter of Ora Wade Holmes, the late Paul Holmes, Frankie Summerlin and the late Jesse Summerlin of Mount Olive.
Parents of the groom are Nettie Marie Emory and Dwight Stephenson of Creedmoor. He is the grandson of the late Coy and Nettie Emory and the late Garland and Hazel Stephenson of Durham.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Jacob Sutton.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Mount Olive.
The bride is a graduate of Mount Olive College. She is employed as a program specialist with Partnership for Children of Wayne County.
The groom is self-employed with Stephenson’s Well Drilling.
Coworkers held a lingerie party.
