Kinsey - Brewington
Valerie M. Brewington and James E. Kinsey pledged their promises July 30 at 2 p.m.
Elder Kenneth and Edna Vaughn and Elder Joseph M. Williams Sr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church Inc.
The bride is the daughter of Ernestine Rouse, the late James Rouse and the late Johnny Hamilton of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Emma Young and the late Willie and Louise Hamilton.
The groom is the son of Catherine Kinsey and the late Hugh Kinsey of Kinston. He is the grandson of the late John and Harriett Hyman Kinsey and the late Ramson and Corena Murphy.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
