Hannah Elizabeth Moore and Brian Edward Hales were united in holy matrimony Sept. 24 at 2 p.m.

Malcolm R. Sullivan Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Walnut Creek Country Club.

Harry Lee and Susan Bos Moore of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Dr. John Fremont and Beverly George Bos of Matthews and Irene Hitch Moore and the late John William Moore of Greenville.

Charles Ray and Sylvia Pope Hales of Clinton are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Alton Edward and Joyce Ann Smith Pope and Donald Ray and Evelyn Sinclair Hales of Clinton.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless organza A-line gown with three bands at the waist and an apron back with a satin edge.

For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered fingertip-length veil with a satin ribbon edge. She carried a bouquet of white and red sweetheart roses accented with white miniature calla lilies.

Christine Bazik was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Charlotte Crain, Pamela Velazquez and Sandra Bond.

Charles Ray Hales was his son’s best man. Jeremy Bond was the usher. Groomsmen were William Burke, Randy Hales and Allan Hales.

Rebekah Sullivan was flower girl. William Alexander Iverson Hales was ring bearer.

Tammy Lee directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Georgeann Stewart.

A program of wedding music was provided by Nathan Lean, pianist, and Matthew Moore, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Wilmington.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2005 graduate of J.Y. Monk School of Real Estate. She is employed as a real estate broker.

The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance. He is employed as a personal banker with RBC Centura.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.

On Sept. 23, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner.

Jacque Seegars, Frances Gooden and Barbara Novicki held a bridesmaids’ luncheon Sept. 23.

On Aug. 30, a dinner shower was held at the home of Debbie Johnson.

The groom’s mother held a floating bridal shower Aug. 28.

On Aug. 21, Millie and Charlotte Crain held a recipe shower.

A luncheon shower was held July 24 at the home of Marlene and Christine Bazik.
