Rose - Hildreth
EMERALD ISLE — Corrie Anne Hildreth and Brian Wayne Rose were married July 30 at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Charles R. Yarborough Jr. officiated at the double-ring beach ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Gail Hildreth of Kirkville, N.Y., and Connie Smith of Cazenovia, N.Y. She is the granddaughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Hildreth of Chittenango, N.Y., and Richard and Dorothy Smith of Canastota, N.Y.
Parents of the groom are Ron and Linda Rose and the late Dorothy Underwood Rose of Pikeville. He is the grandson of Ruby C. Sology of Fayetteville.
Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a drape neck A-line gown with a back train of white with a chiffon overlay.
For her headpiece, she chose a white one-tiered fingertip veil trimmed in white satin ribbon. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied white pink-tipped roses.
The bride’s mother was maid of honor.
Ron Rose of Pikeville was his son’s best man.
Kacey Rose of Wilson, niece of the groom, was the miniature bride. Zack Brewer of Pikeville was the miniature groom.
Adam Sauls of Knightdale, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Tammy Keel, friend of the bride, directed the wedding. Sherry Orander, friend of the bride, distributed programs.
After a wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple is residing in Pikeville.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Chittenango High School and a 2001 magna cum laude graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems and a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed with Strickland Insurance Group as a business/systems analyst.
The groom graduated from Charles B. Aycock in 1987. He is employed with Mozingo Transmission as a transmission special-ist/manager.
Following the ceremony, Tony and Karla Rose and Ronnie and Teresa Rose held a reception at Goose Creek Resort of Emerald Isle.
On Sept. 17, the bride’s parents will hold a reception picnic at their home.
A pig picking was held Aug. 13 at the home of the couple.
On July 29, the couple held a rehearsal dinner in Emerald Isle.
Bennett Brewer held a bachelor weekend June 11 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
On June 11, Cristy Brewer held a bachelorette weekend in Atlantic Beach.
Bennett and Cristy Brewer held a miscellaneous shower May 21 at their home in Pikeville.
On April 23, Tammy Keel and Sherry Orander held a stock-the-bar shower at the Village Steakhouse.
