Dana Michelle Fuller of Greenville and Joshua Michael Mays of Greenville exchanged promises Saturday, July 9, at 5 p.m.

Greg Quinton and Robert Goff officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Oak Forest Church of Christ.

The bride is the daughter of David Jr. and DeeDee Fuller of Gig Harbor, Wash. She is the granddaughter of Peter Baatz of Houston and David and Von Fuller of Hattiesburg, Miss.

The groom is the son of Dennis F. and Becky Ruth Mays of Selma. He is the grandson of R.J. and Navoleine Roddy of Troup and the late Romy Luther and Nora Lee Mays of Coahoma, Texas.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of Italian satin with a scalloped strapless neckline. The fitted bodice was embellished with re-embroidered Alencon lace, pearls and sequins that ended in a Basque waistline. The A-line skirt was enhanced with box pleating in the back at the waist and beaded with lace and pearls that cascaded throughout the semi-cathedral train.

For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil of silk illusion with a scalloped edged adorned with rhinestones and pearls. She carried a clutch bouquet of white roses.

Delaney Fuller of Gig Harbor, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Mays of Wilmington, sister of the groom; Donna Fuller of Havelock, sister-in-law of the bride; and Julie Brenegan of Richmond, Va., friend of the bride.

Matthew Mays of Boone was his brother’s best man. Ushers and groomsmen were Devon Fuller of Wilmington, brother of the bride, and Jonathan Rorech and Adam Lewis of Raleigh, friends of the groom.

Sgt. Daniel Fuller of Cherry Point, brother of the bride, was the honorary groomsman.

Dakotah Fuller of Havelock, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Jason Silvernail of Havelock, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Gladys Hull directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Janet Brooks. Kim Warren and Cheryl Butler distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sean McDonald of Greenville, pianist, and Teresa Miller of Texarkana, Ark., cousin of the bride, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Atlanta, Ga., the couple is residing in Greenville.

The bride is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in elementary education. She attends the master’s program in education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher with Pitt County Schools.

The groom attended East Carolina University. He is employed as a sales consultant with US Cellular.

Following the ceremony, the couple’s parents held a reception at Lane Tree Country Club.

On July 7, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Oak Forest Road Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Cole Hull of Sleepy Creek held a couple’s shower June 29 at Oak Forest Road Church.

Kindergarten parents held a surprise shower in April.
