Mrs. Warren

TAYLORS, S.C. — Joanna Christin Logan and Caleb David Warren were wed May 27 at 5 p.m.

Dr. John C. Vaughn officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Faith Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Derek Parker Logan of Taylors. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brown of Avera, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Logan of Archdale.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Warren of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Merv Hinsch of Englewood, Fla., and Thelma Warren and the late Col. D. Warren of Pasadena, Texas.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, bride wore a white matte satin A-line wedding gown with a square neckline, short sleeves and a triple-banded organza overlay. The trim was embroidered with sequins, beads and pearls that bordered the neckline, sleeves, edges of the overlay and the chapel-length train.

For her headpiece, she chose a fingertip-length veil bordered in sequins and crystals accented by pearls and crystals. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of blush pink, champagne and pale green roses and white miniature calla lilies accented with crystals.

The bride’s mother was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tamara Jordan, Lisette Wiles and Angela Grossman, friends of the bride, and Rebecca Skinner, cousin of the bride.

Raymond Warren was his son’s best man. Clinton Dosio, friend of the groom, was the usher. Groomsmen were Micah Warren and Stephen Warren, brothers of the groom; Shawn Conder and Kurt Melange, friends of the groom; and Jeremy Logan, brother of the bride.

Hannah Warren, sister of the groom, was the junior bridesmaid.

Scarlett Jenkins, cousin of the bride, and Esther Warren, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Zachary Jordan, friend of the bride, was ring bearer.

Pam Smith directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Samuel Thurman. Scarlett Jenkins and Esther Warren distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Paul and Sherry Zimmer, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to Seabrook Island, S.C., the couple is residing in Oldsmar, Fla.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Bob Jones University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts degree in practical Christian training and early childhood education. She is a homemaker.

The groom graduated from Berean Baptist College of Florida in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in pastoral studies. He is employed as a dock worker with SAIA Motor Freight of Tampa, Fla.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a dinner reception. Presiding at the gift table was Amber Warren, sister-in-law of the groom. Caren Skinner, aunt of the bride, and Shannon Jenkins, cousin of the bride, served the five-tiered wedding cake with scrollwork. Hannah Warren, sister of the groom, and Scarlett Jenkins, cousin of the bride, distributed rose petals.

On May 26, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Steak and Ale of Greenville, S.C.

Tammy Jordan held a bachelorette party May 26.

Peggy Davenport held a bridal shower March 19 at her home.
