Westbrook - Scott
Emily Gail Scott of Goldsboro and Wayne Alan Westbrook of Rosewood were married May 28 at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Tom Norris officiated at the ceremony at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Parents of the bride are William Andrew Scott and Diane Watson Scott. She is the granddaughter of John and Marie Watson of Billerica, Mass., and Gerald and Anna Scott of Lexington, Mass.
Parents of the groom are Paul and Diane Westbrook of Rosewood and Chris and Laurie Westbrook of Charlottesville, Va. He is the grandson of Herbert and Jean Hartley of Rosewood and Robert and Mildred Westbrook of Charlottesville.
Lauren Thurau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nikki Strawn, Meaghan Connelly and Jenna Donovan.
Jason Westbrook was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Cody and Jeremy Honeycutt, brothers of the groom, and Michael Scott, brother of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Washington D.C., the couple is residing in Rosewood.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.
On May 27, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner.
Nikki Strawn held a shower in April.
In April, the groom’s family held a wedding shower.
The bride’s family held a wedding shower Dec. 25 in Massachusetts.
