Sheri Patricia Jones became the bride of Bradley Carsten Pabst-Garland of LaGrange June 3 at 6 p.m.

The Rev. Tommy Yopp officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Adamsville Baptist Church.

Douglas and Patricia Jones of Seven Springs are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of C. Elliott and Edna Hill, Rachel Jones and the late Isaac Jones of Seven Springs.

Sam and Barbara Garland of Grass Valley, Calif., and Guy and Shawna Pabst of Sherwood, Ore., are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Glenda Ellis, the late Jene Ellis, the late Anna Pabst and Donald Pabst of San Jose, Calif.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a candlelight gown of silky satin with a strapless neckline. The fitted bodice was embellished with hand-embroidered flower motifs accented with bugle beads, sequins and Austrian crystals and ended in a dropped waistline. The full skirt was enhanced with box pleating at the waist and cascaded into a semi-cathedral train.

For her headpiece, she chose a rhinestone comb accented with a one-tiered veil of silk illusion with a penciled edge.

Brandi Massey, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaime Cox of Goldsboro, Sarah Roberts of Faison and Licianna Yopp of Beulaville, friends of the bride; Jennifer Hill of Reidsville, cousin of the bride; and Larrissa Pabst of Portland, Ore., sister of the groom.

Clinton Pabst was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Mahar of California and Dustin Bailey of Florida, friends of the groom, and Matthew Torney of Texas and Matthew Massey of Seven Springs, brothers-in-law of the groom.

Nicole Torney, sister of the groom, was the honorary bridesmaid.

Alexyss and Makaylah Yopp, friends of the groom, were flower girls.

Donna Underwood of Goldsboro, friend, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hill, uncle and aunt of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Casey, pianist, and Mr. and Mrs. Jason Cox and the couple, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple will reside in LaGrange.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2003 graduate of Mount Olive College with a bachelor of science degree in music. She was a member of the Mount Olive College Singers. She is employed as a music teacher at Eastern Wayne Elementary School.

The groom graduated from Nevada-Union High School in 1999. He served in the Air Force. He is employed as an electronics technician with the Department of Defense.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family held a reception dinner at Walnut Creek Country Club. Linda Price, aunt of the bride, served the wedding cake.

On June 2, the groom’s family held a rehearsal dinner at Schooner or Later Restaurant.

Brandi Jones Massey and Jennifer E. Hill held a lingerie party May 23 at the Jones home.

On May 2, the special area department of Eastern Wayne Elementary School held a miscellaneous shower in the gym.

The bride’s family held a miscellaneous shower April 17 at the home of Patricia Jones.
