LAGRANGE — Ella Marie Best of Goldsboro and Walter Devon Bunch of Pikeville exchanged promises May 21 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Chester McClarin and the Rev. Jimmie Graham Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of James W. Best of LaGrange and Betty Best of Goldsboro.

Parents of the groom are Walter L. and Brenda Bunch of Fremont.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown sheath with a sweetheart neckline embellished with lace and pearls on the bodice that ended at the Basque waistline. A cathedral detachable train of ivory satin and illusion adorned with satin roses finished the gown.

For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Tyris Broadhurst was matron of honor. LaTricia Graham and Tracy Kittrell were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Tasha Moss of Goldsboro, sister of the groom; Candace Graham of LaGrange, cousin of the bride; Yolunder Bunch of Lancaster, Pa., cousin of the groom; and Tracy Dawson of Fremont and Deveda Yelverton of Dudley, friends of the bride.

Walter L. Bunch and Marcus Reid were best men. Ushers were Travares Reid of Goldsboro and Walter Ham of Pikeville, friends of the groom, and Dwayne Suggs of LaGrange and Cameron Davis of Goldsboro, cousins of the bride. Groomsmen were Ticarus Bunch of Raleigh, cousin of the groom; Jimmie Graham III of LaGrange, cousin of the bride; and James Broadhurst of Dudley, Temele Williams of Goldsboro and Tory Powell of Fremont, friends of the groom.

Jamiyah Bunch was the miniature bride. Devonte Best was the miniature groom.

Ky’Lon Moss was ring bearer.

Santra Kittrell-Dunn directed the wedding. Presiding at the registers were Terri Worrell and Katrina McClarin. Kamia Best and Raegine Lewis distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Fred Kittrell, pianist; Aaron Jarman, drummer; Adrian Gardner, guitarist; and Rose Parks, Roderick James and Fruit of the Spirit, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to Disney World, Fla., the couple will reside in Pikeville.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s father held a reception at the National Guard Armory. Hostesses were Carmala Best, Demetress Suggs, Shemenia Best, Erica Dancy, Tiffany Edwards, Ernestine Cratch, Lynne Wooten, Karen Kornegay and Angela Wooten.

The bride’s family held a rehearsal dinner May 20 at St. Luke Church.

On May 13, Rolonda Jones and Lynn Kittrell held a bridal shower at the Jones home.

Tracy Kittrell held a pampered bride shower May 7 at the home of the bride.

On April 24, a bachelorette party was held in Raleigh.
