Stacy Lynn Davis and Brandon Keith Sherman of Goldsboro exchanged promises May 14 t 4 p.m.
The Rev. Frederick Clarke officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Walnut Creek Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Grimes and William Davis of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Allen Ray Grimes, Martha Grimes of Goldsboro and William Earl and Patty Davis of LaGrange.
Parents of the groom are Keith and Karen Sherman of Goldsboro and Scott and Becky Taylor of Fremont. He is the grandson of Thelma Mcgrew of Pikeville.
Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her uncle, William Grimes, the bride wore a satin halter V-neck gown with a cathedral-length train. The A-line gown had a beaded bodice and a lace-up split back.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara accented with seed pearls and Swarovski crystals with a semi-cathedral-length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet with calla lilies and white roses.
Ashlee Ehnert, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Hart, Alexis Zwerling and Tennille Lewis, cousins of the bride; Genna Gooding, friend of the bride; and Tori Mcgrew and Susie Platt, friends of the bride.
Keith Sherman was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Charles Zwerling and William Grimes, uncles of the bride; Chris Thomas, friend of the couple; Allen Grimes, cousin of the bride; and Brian Platt and David Sturm, friends of the groom.
Brianna Sherman was flower girl. Brandon Hodges was ring bearer.
Melissa Zwerling directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Tiffany Zwerling. Natalie Shafer distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ross Merle.
After a wedding cruise to the southern Caribbean, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She is employed as a medical secretary with Goldsboro Eye Clinic.
The groom attended Charles B. Aycock High School. He graduated from Wayne Community College in 2000. He attends Wayne Community College for an associate’s degree in electronics. He is employed as an electronic technician with Jerry Williams Lumber Co.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
On May 1, Melissa Zwerling and Linda Grimes held a wedding shower.
The groom’s parents held a lawn and garden barbecue April 31.
On April 23, friends of the groom held a bachelor party.
Ashlee Ehnert held a bachelorette party and lingerie shower April 23 at the home of the bride.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Walnut Creek Country Club.
