WARSAW — Glenda Faye Mudge Edwards became the bride of William Vann Holland April 9 at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Unity United Methodist Church.

Nancy Chandler of Beulaville is the mother of the bride. She is the granddaughter of W.B. Powell of Richlands and the late Lela Mae Powell.

Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Vann Holland of Warsaw are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otho Lee Holland of Warsaw and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Daniel Potter of Kenansville.

Given in marriage by her children, Joshua and Audriana Edwards, and escorted by her son, Joshua Edwards, the bride wore a strapless white satin formal dress with a beaded lace bodice and an A-line skirt with a front pleat trimmed with beaded lace.

For her headpiece, she chose a clip adorned with white silk flowers. She carried a cascading bouquet of white silk roses and lilies.

Angi Kennedy, friend of the couple, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Audriana Edwards, daughter of the bride; Jenny Byrd, sister of the bride; and Stefanie Mantie, niece of the bride.

William Henry Vann Holland was best man. Groomsmen were Danny Chambers, Jeffrey Holland, Kyle Bostic, cousins of the groom.

Karigan Kennedy was flower girl.

Inez Williams directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Lea Potter.

A program of wedding music was provided by Beverly Mobley, pianist and vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Carolina Beach, the couple is residing in Kenansville.

The bride attended Richlands High School. She continued her education in the emergency medical field. She is employed as a dental assistant with Dr. Saas.

The groom attended James Kenan High School. He continued his education in the emergency medical field. He is employed at an EMT-1 with Duplin County EMS.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

On April 22, ladies of Unity United Methodist Church held a bridal shower in the fellowship hall.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Unity United Methodist Church.
