Chitty - Groseclose
DUCK - Dana Lynn Groseclose of Raleigh and Glenwood Scott Chitty of Raleigh were wed Nov. 6 at 4 p.m.
Dr. Glenn Phillips officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Groseclose of Ivanhoe, Va., and Susan Groseclose of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Groseclose.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glenwood Chitty of Goldsboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Zeb Chitty and Johnnie Fornes of Ahoskie.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk halter dress with a champagne band around the midriff.
Tanya Groseclose Brockwell of New York, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kirstin Bourquin of Raleigh; Tonya Groseclose of Raleigh, sister-in-law of the bride; Emily Marco of New York; Melaine Pickle of Georgia, stepsister of the bride; Mary Kathryn Cato and Jamie Lunder of Raleigh; Sheree Moeller of Clayton, sister of the groom; and Jacqueline Reisland of Cary.
T. Glenn Chitty was his son’s best man. Ushers were Stewart Bryan of Goldsboro; Brad Groseclose of Raleigh, brother of the bride; Josh Hammond, Joseph Caprio and William Kesler of Raleigh; J.C. Moeller of Clayton, brother-in-law of the groom; Bradley Groseclose Jr. of Raleigh, nephew of the bride; and Jack Austin Moeller of Clayton, nephew of the groom.
Wyatt Moeller of Clayton, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.
Vickie Zimmerman directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kelly Hardy of Raleigh. Beau Bourquin of Raleigh distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sue Dean, violinist.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana Resort, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Raleigh.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a major in communication studies and elementary education. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority. The is employed as an account representative with IBM of Raleigh.
The groom graduated from Appalachian State University in 1998 with a BSBA and major in accounting and from East Carolina University in 2001 with a master’s degree in business administration. He is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is employed as a cost accountant with Cree Inc. of Research Triangle.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at Sunset Retreat Wedding Cottage of Duck.
Family held a wedding breakfast Nov. 6 in Duck.
On Nov. 5, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Meridian 42 Restaurant of Southern Shores.
The bride’s sister held a bridesmaids’ luncheon Nov. 5.
On Nov. 4, family held a shrimp broil Nov. 4.
On Oct. 2, the groom’s family and friends held an engagement party.
Friends held a lingerie shower in Raleigh.
A tailgate shower was held in Raleigh.
Family held a Hawaiian luau in Raleigh.
