Radford - Heffner
Renee Elizabeth Heffner and Michael Allen Radford of Dudley said their wedding vows Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.
The Rev. Catherine Smith officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Lane Tree Golf Club.
Parents of the bride are Glenn David and Barbara Lynn Heffner of Dudley. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry and Helen Heffner of Jersey City, N.J., and Richard and Sandrea Christen of Toms River, N.J.
Herman Jr. and Goldie Mae Radford of Goldsboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Herman Sr. and Maggie Radford, John Henry “Pat” Sykes and Gladys Watson of LaGrange.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless dress of candlelight ivory and Italian matte satin with an organza overlay. It had a satin cuff at the top with matching satin trim along the hemline. It also had beaded lace work on the bodice and along the bottom of the gown in a flower pattern.
Jennifer Panashy Smith was matron of honor. Kathleen Lewis of Paterson, N.J., was the bridesmaid.
Herman Radford Jr. was best man. Groomsmen were Gregory Heffner and David Heffner, brothers of the bride.
The couple will take a wedding cruise to the Caribbean. They will reside in Dudley.
The bride, formerly of New Jersey, attends East Carolina University for a degree in chemistry. She is employed as a pharmacy technician at Wayne Pharmacy.
The groom graduated from Rosewood High School. He is employed as a delivery extraordinaire with Wayne Pharmacy and Raper Drugs and is owner of Radford Photography.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.
On Oct. 15, a rehearsal dinner was held at Ryan’s Steakhouse.
