DILLON, S.C. — Jennifer Ryan Overby and Eric Joshua Arbeau pledged their promises Oct. 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Timmy Grimsley officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Dillon Marriage Chapel.

The bride is the daughter of Johnny and Debbie Overby of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Melvin Woodard of Goldsboro, Gladys Woodard of Nashville, Tenn., the late Claude Patrick and the late Maxine Patrick.

Parents of the groom are William and Tamela Arbeau of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of DeAnn White and the late Jerry White of Goldsboro and the late Rev. Willis Arbeau and Geneva Arbeau of Canada.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown with a split back that flowed into a chapel-length train accented with handbeaded trim and spaghetti straps.

For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of Austrian crystals accented with a two-tiered fingertip veil dotted with pearls. She carried a clutch bouquet of pink roses and white daisies with the stems wrapped with periwinkle satin-edged ribbon.

Stephanie Overby, sister, was maid of honor.

William Arbeau was his son’s best man.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Rosewood.

The bride attended Rosewood High School. She graduated from home school.

The groom attended Rosewood High School. He is employed as a sales associate with Waynesborough Furniture.

A reception will be held Nov. 27 at Kirkwood dining room.
