SEVEN SPRINGS — Sarah Elizabeth Price and Tracy Lorenzo Roberts pledged their wedding vows Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.

Ashley G. Summerlin officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Seven Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy M. Price of Seven Springs are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mary Price and the late Bruce Price of Seven Springs and the late Lloyd and Viola Sutton of LaGrange.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Roberts of Faison. He is the grandson of the late Lorenzo and Thelma Pate and the late Bertice and Annie Roberts of Faison.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory satin with a strapless neckline. The fitted bodice was enhanced with a drop waistline adorned with a champagne sash. The full skirt cascaded into a semi-cathedral train accented with satin streamers embellished with gold bugle beads and crystal accents.

She carried a clutch bouquet of leonida, charlotte, skyline, Judy, terra cotta and Virginia roses with accents of hyperium berries.

Amanda Whaley of Dudley was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carla Anderson of Faison, Jaime Cox and Cassie Grady of Goldsboro, Amy Grantham of Seven Springs and Jerri Lou Price of Mount Olive.

B.C. Roberts was best man. Groomsmen were Casey Anderson and John Anderson of Faison, Ralph Britt of Calypso, Dwayne Lee of Mount Olive and Joe Price of Seven Springs.

Sheri Jones and Paige Westbrook of Goldsboro and Julie Smith of Hypouluxo were honorary bridesmaids.

Annette Smith, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Davis Price, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

Bruce Ann Smith, aunt of the bride, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Mary Kay Ward, cousin of the bride. Janna Price and Laura Balmer distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jason Cox, pianist, and the bride, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Faison.

The bride is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and Mount Olive College. She is employed as a laboratory technician with Goldsboro Laboratories.

The groom graduated from North Duplin High School and Mount Olive College. He is self-employed as an electrician.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Annie Laura Casey and Linda Foss, aunts of the bride, served the wedding cake. Kathy Jones and Carolyn Odom, aunts of the groom, poured punch.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Oct. 7 at Walnut Creek Country Club.

On Oct. 2, Amanda Whaley, Carla Anderson, Jean Anderson, Olivia Whaley and Jewel Autry held a bridal shower at the home of Jean Anderson.

Bruce Ann Smith and Becky Price held a miscellaneous shower Sept. 19 at Seven Springs Baptist Church.

On Sept. 18, Annie Laura Casey and Linda Foss held a bridesmaids’ luncheon at Billie’s on the Green.

Gibbie Creech, Kathleen Durham and Sue Sutton held a miscellaneous shower Aug. 29 at the Creech home.

On Aug. 28, friends of the couple held a bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Topsail Island.

Sheila Coats and Rose Coats held an engagement party Aug. 14.
