Brock - Albertson
Brettany Carol Albertson and Christopher Adam Brock were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Joe Ard officiated at the ceremony at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Johnny and Tammi Albertson of Chinquapin. She is the granddaughter of Nancy Fountain Bryan of Chinquapin.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Lori Brock of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of Jean Holmes, Betty Brock and Ronald A. and Elaine Brock of Mount Olive.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
Mallory Albertson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Schautzman of Goldsboro and Melissa Lucas of Greenville, friends of the bride.
Ronald Brock was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Michael Brock of Mount Olive, brother of the groom, and Freddy Southerland of Mount Olive, cousin of the groom. Tyler Fountain of Chinquapin, cousin of the bride, was the usher.
Honorary bridesmaids were Courtney Kilpatrick of Warsaw, Megan Brown of Chinquapin and Cassidy Brown of Richlands, cousins of the bride.
Megan Hood and Miriam Padrick were flower girls. Jennings Hood was ring bearer.
Rosa Craft of Richlands directed the wedding.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Mount Olive.
The bride attends Mount Olive College for a degree in business. She was a member of the girl’s softball team. She is employed at Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers of Mount Olive.
The groom graduated from North Duplin High School in 2000. He is employed as manager of Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers of Mount Olive.
Following the ceremony, the couple’s families held a reception at Back Swamp Community Center. Vicki Brown of Richlands, aunt of the bride, was coordinator.
On Sept. 24, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Sidney’s Catering of Beulaville.
Judy Cavanaugh, aunt of the bride, held a bridal luncheon Sept. 24 at The Mustard Seed of Wallace.
On Sept. 18, Ronald and Michael Brock held a guy’s night out.
Aunts and cousins of the bride held a lingerie party Sept. 18.
On Aug. 22, Fountaintown held a shower.
