Catherine English Wilkins and Andrew Jamieson Gregory Jr. of Charlotte were united in holy matrimony Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.

Dr. Homer Morris officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Shelton Wilkins Jr. of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Shelton Wilkins of Mount Olive, Louise Price Butler of Goldsboro and the late Adron Gilbert Hollowell.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jamieson Gregory of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mason Moody Gregory and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hackney Adams of Wilson.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Carrie Blair Gallo was matron of honor. Carolyn Elizabeth Wilkins was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Elizabeth Wilkins of Goldsboro, sister of the bride; Carrie Blair Gallo of Morehead City, Katherine Leigh Bradner and Lindsay Claire Wiseman of Charleston, S.C., Katherine Brittain Hobbs of Washington D.C. and Corey Kraft Gildener of London, England, friends of the bride; and Katherine Gregory Fritter of Raleigh, sister-in-law of the bride.

Andrew Jamieson Gregory was best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Cary Fritter of Raleigh, brother-in-law of the groom, and Todd Webb Gaylord and Russell Scott Haislip of Charlotte, Thomas Edward Highsmith of Washington D.C., George Wrenn Ragsdale of Jameston and Charles Lyon Stubbs of Raleigh, friends of the groom.

Lynn Riley Kluttz was flower girl. William Parker Wilkins was ring bearer.

Sheila Warrick directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Mary Catherine Hollowell. Blair Hughes Wilkins distributed programs.

Readers were Matthew Spence Hedspeth and George Hackney Adams III.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mark K. Gourley, organist; Dennis de Jong, trumpeter; and Diane Finan, Christopher Lawing and BSA Gospel group, vocalists.

The couple will reside in Wilmington, Del.

The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The groom graduated from North Carolina State University College of Management and Fuqua School of Business of Duke University. He is employed as vice president of Wachovia Bank.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.

Friends of the couple held engagement parties in Beaufort and Jamestown.

The bride’s family held an engagement party.

Co-workers of the groom held an engagement party in Charlotte.

Matt and Katherine Fritter held a shower.

Elizabeth Wilkins held a shower.

The bride’s family held a bridal luncheon.

Friends and family held a brunch and wedding party.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner and an after-rehearsal dance at Lane Tree Golf Club.
