Ellison - Helms
CHAPEL HILL — Alison Faye Helms and Bradley Scott Ellison of Columbus, Ohio, were married June 19 at 5:30 p.m.
The Rev. Alan Swartz officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Sanderford Marley of Goldsboro and Mr. and Mrs. John David Helms of Hickory. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Kennedy and the late Mr. Kennedy of Wade, Mrs. Bill Marley and the late Mr. Marley of Cary and Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers Helms of Fayetteville and the great-granddaughter of Mildred Sanderford of Cary.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Wendell Ellison of Morganton. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Crutchfield of Sylvania, Ga., and Christine Ellison of Forsyth, Ga.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Columbus.
