MOUNT OLIVE — Leigh Ann Clark and Matthew Douglas Bartlett of Pikeville were married Aug. 14 at 2 p.m.

Doug Bartlett officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Renae Clark of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Graham and Betsy Clark of Goldsboro and Tommy and Jean Hendrix of Hartwell, Ga.

The Rev. Doug and Anne Bartlett of Pikeville and Jim and Debbie Price of Seymour, Tenn., are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Newton and Marlene Bartlett of Pikeville and the late Woodrow Smith and Ella Mae Smith of Wilkesboro.

Given in marriage and escorted by Greg Clark, the bride wore a white satin gown beaded at the top with beads on the train and around the bottom.

She carried calla lilies.

Lindsey Clark was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leann Piccard, Hannah Smith and Dana Creech.

Jonathan Edwards was best man. Ushers were Ryan Barbato and Devin Eubanks. Groomsmen were Ryan Barbato, Josh Barbato and Devin Eubanks.

Morgan Crutchfield was flower girl. Ian Eubanks was ring bearer.

Lisa Boyette directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Mike and Christy Klemiuk. Beth Miller distributed programs.

Special helpers were Martha Turner, Pam Barrow, Denise Barley, David Willoughby, Joann Bryan, Terry Ann Boyette, Anita Kornegay and Linda Sweet.

A program of wedding music was provided by Chad Clark, pianist, and Lauren Bartlett, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Goldsboro.

The bride is a 2001 home-schooled graduate. She is owner and manager of Personal Touch.

The groom graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2001 and Wayne Community College with an associate in fine arts music degree. He was SGA president. He will attend Mount Olive College. He is employed as associate pastor and afterschool worker at Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

A shower was held at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Church.

A shower was held at Goldsboro First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A shower was held at the home of Robin Hendrix of Dewy Rose, Ga.

A party was held at the home of Dana Creech of Goldsboro.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Oliver’s Railroad Grille.
