Stephanie Nicole Childers of Erwin and Brandon Reno Bossolono pledged their promises June 26 at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Alton Childers and the Rev. Tony Bossolono officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Erwin Church of God.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Alton and Donna Childers. She is the granddaughter of Grant Noe of Harlan, Ky., Delma Pierce of Buchanan, Tenn., and the late Fred and Loma Lee Childers of Gaffney, S.C.

Parents of the groom are the Rev. Tony and Wanda Bossolono of Rocky Mount. He is the grandson of the late Reno and Hattie Bossolono of Rocky Mount and the Rev. E.L. and Lena Newton of Mooresville.

Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin gown overlaid in organza adorned with embroidery, crystals and pearls. White satin buttons ran down the back. The fishtail skirt flowed into a chapel-length train.

For her headpiece, she chose a rhinestone tiara with a double layer elbow-length veil with a pencil edge. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink and white roses tied with a white satin ribbon.

Krystal Childers, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melinda Benson, Kristen Dodd, Amanda Harkins, Keri Phillips, Lindsey Skelton and Susan Weichmann, friends of the bride; Wendy Bossolono, sister-in-law of the groom; and Lindsey Noe, cousin of the bride.

Derek Bossolono was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jason Benson, Jimmy Bowers, Davy Fearon, Ryan Hatrak, Josh Lavigne and Shane Peacock, friends of the groom; Garrett Chase, cousin of the bride; and Hunter Newton, cousin of the groom.

Brooke Bossolono, niece of the groom, was the miniature bride.

Helaina Bossolono, niece of the groom, and Taylor Smith, friend of the bride, were flower girls.

Laura Pope of Erwin directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register were Brooke Murray and Lauren Peters. Brooke Bossolono, Madison Newton and Summer Sutton distributed favors.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jimmy Aycock, pianist; Dee Braxton-Pellegrino, violinist; Gary Wood, trumpeter; and Melinda Benson, Wayne Newton, Jay Sauls, Mike Smith and Cindy Wood, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She attends Lee University of Tennessee for a bachelor of science degree in education.

The groom graduated from Northern Nash in 1996 and Lee University in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems and business. He is employed with Signature Communities.

Rodney and Kelly Walker, friends of the couple, greeted guests. Susie Chase, aunt of the bride; Beverly Gurkin, friend of the couple; and Betty Noe, aunt of the bride, poured punch. Elaine Ervin and Lil Newton, aunts of the groom, served the wedding cake.

On June 25, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Erwin Church of God family ministry center.

Betty Noe held a bridal luncheon June 25 at the Royal Tea Rooms.

On June 25, the groom held a golf tournament at Wedgewood Golf Course of Wilson.

Susie Chase and Cindy Konig held a miscellaneous shower June 6 at Patetown Church of God.

On May 23, Erwin Church of God held a miscellaneous shower at the family ministry center.

Old Wilson Road Church of God ladies ministries held a bridal brunch May 15.

On March 31, Krystal Childers and friends of the bride held a shower in Cleveland, Tenn.
