Veronica Maria Luna of Goldsboro and Bryan Edward Davis said their marriage vows June 5 at 2 p.m.
Father Bill officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Parents of the bride are Ricardo and Maria Carmen Luna of Pikeville. She is the granddaughter of Trinidad and Carmen Torres and Maria J. Provencio of El Paso, Texas.
William Edward and Marilou Wyatt Davis are parents of the groom. He is grandson of William Bryan and Leona Witherington and Martha Barnes Wyatt of Goldsboro and the late Perry Jackson Wyatt.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white matte satin gown accented with cap sleeves. The fitted bodice was embellished with beaded embroidery trimmed with a jeweled pattern along the drop waistline and neckline. The A-line skirt had box pleats and faux buttons and flowed into a semi-cathedral-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of pearl flowers and rhinestones with a detached fingertip-length circle cut veil accented with a pencil edging.
Marisol Litzinger, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were LeAnne Howell and Cristy Brewer of Goldsboro, friends of the bride.
Edward Davis was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Davis of Goldsboro, brother of the groom; Bernie Barfield of LaGrange, friend of the couple; and Frankie Shinglton of Raleigh, friend of the groom.
Gabrielle Litzinger, Sarah Litzinger and Peyton Barfield were flower girls. Zack Brewer was ring bearer.
Carol Sears directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Renee Bryan.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ronald Davis, pianist, and Keith Brumble, trumpeter.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Jamaica.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She attends Mount Olive College for a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed as a marketing assistant with Strickland Insurance Group.
The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1994 and North Carolina State University in 1997. He is employed with BellSouth.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at Walnut Creek Country Club.
On June 4, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at the Steak Barn.
Marisol Litzinger held a bachelorette party May 22 in Raleigh.
On May 21, friends of the groom held a bachelor party weekend in Emerald Isle.
Sheree Garrett, Susan Lewis and Pam Creech held a lingerie party May 8.
On April 24, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Brewer, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Bryan and Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Dawson held a miscellaneous shower and cookout.
Carmen Luna, Marisol Litzinger and Barbara Mills held a miscellaneous shower April 17.
On March 27, Marilou Davis held a recipe shower.
Bernie and Jessica Barfield held a lawn and garden shower Oct. 25.
