Stephanie Diane Lewis and Donald Francis Rarick III said their marriage vows May 15 at 2 p.m.

Pastor Bill Garner officiated at the double-ring ceremony at New Hope Friends Church.

Mr. and Mrs. David Harper of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aimuel H. Casey and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy C. Lewis Sr. of Goldsboro.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rarick Jr. of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Turner of Goldsboro, Florence Howell of Bridgewater, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Howell of Florida.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of embroidered satin. The beaded, cuffed, strapless neckline accented the A-line gown and was adorned with pearls and embroidered lace with a chapel-length train.

For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered fingertip veil of silk illusion with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of cascading fuchsia roses and lilies.

Sarah Wallace was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenny Moore, Jennifer Minshew and Brittany Harper.

Donald Rarick Jr. was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Michael Rarick, brother of the groom, Bryan Davis and Hollis Campbell.

Kimberly Minshew, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Dawn Eason directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Caroline Clarkson. Cindy and Becky Clarkson distributed programs.

Special helpers were Kevin Amory, Jackye Cushing and Charlene Clarkson.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sharon Barrow, pianist, and Tony Eason, sound coordinator.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2003 graduate of Wayne Community College as a certified dental assistant. She is employed as a certified dental assistant with Dr. O.R. Stovall III.

The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1999. He attended Wayne Community College. He is employed as a cabinet builder with Sloan Cabinets.

Following the ceremony, the couple’s parents held a reception in the church fellowship hall.

On May 8, Richard Clarkson and David Harper held a bachelor party.

Sarah Wallace held a bachelorette party May 8 in Greenville.

On April 24, Charlene Clarkson and Jackye Cushing held a bridal shower at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride’s parents held a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall.
