Mr. and Mrs. Weeks

Jamie Lee Strickland and Allan Douglas Weeks pledged their wedding vows Friday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.

The Rev. Brian Hope officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Holiday Inn Express.

Parents of the bride are Al and Donna Strickland and James and Renea Cruse of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of James and Nancy Strickland of Goldsboro, Ann Coker of Raleigh, Frank and Alice Cooper Newcomb of Snow Hill and the late Robert Cooper.

The groom is the son of Terry Douglas Weeks of Mount Olive and Teresa Kay Weeks of Grantham. He is the grandson of Curtis and Clara Nord of Grantham and Maylon and Betty Weeks of Mount Olive.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a rose-colored skirt-suit fashioned with rose-colored trim.

She carried a bouquet of pink and wine roses.

Michele Strickland of Goldsboro, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Terry Weeks was his son’s best man.

Austin Strickland of Goldsboro, half brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

Janice Vaniford of Walstonburg directed the ceremony. Melissa Weeks of Grantham, sister of the groom, distributed programs.

The bride is a graduate of Faith Christian Academy. She is employed as a teller at North Carolina Community Federal Credit Union.

The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School. He is employed as an installer with Jackson and Son Heating and Air.

The couple is residing in Mount Olive.

Following the wedding ceremony, Donna Strickland and Teresa Weeks held a reception.
