Tammy Michele Jenkins and Aaron Shane Brock said their marriage vows March 20 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Marvin Brock officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Black Jack Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Nelson and Shelia Jenkins of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Ruth Jenkins of Goldsboro, the late Dalton Jenkins and the late Thaddeus and Eva Thornton.

Parents of the groom are Marvin and Mary Lou Brock of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of the late Marvin and Mattie Brock, the late Miles and Cladie Faircloth and the late Pearl Brock.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line satin halter gown with a sheer organza overlay embroidered and embellished with pearls. The split back cascaded into a cathedral train.

For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil with corded edging. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses.

Katherine Woodyard, friend of the bride, and Cyndi Thornton, cousin of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Brock, sister-in-law of the groom, and Susan Call of Greenville, friend of the bride.

Chris Lindsay was his friend’s best man. Groomsmen were Joel Brock, brother of the groom; Albert Knowles; and Dennis Brock, nephew of the groom.

Honorary bridesmaids were Amy Brown of Goldsboro and Sarah Gregory of Asheville, friends of the bride.

Rose Brock, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Ethan Brock, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.

Renee Coty, aunt of the bride, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the resister was Kasey Powell, cousin of the bride. Nikki Coty, cousin ofthe bride, distributed programs.

Special helpers were Billy Thornton, Lynda Hinson, Wanda Powell, Angie McRoberts, Lisa Hinson, Stephanie Stallings, Dana Hinson, Tim Powell and Linda Gulledge.

A program of wedding music was provided by Marshalle Lewis, pianist; Penny Withrow, vocalist; and Jenny Heim, violinist.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Greenville.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2003 graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

The groom graduated from North Duplin High School in 1997 and East Carolina University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception in the church fellowship hall.

On March 19, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner.

The bride’s mother held a luncheon March 19.

March 6 and 7, a bachelor weekend was held.

Friends of the bride held a bachelorette party March 6 in Greenville.

Feb. 28 and 29, the bride’s attendants held a bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Ladies of Jones Memorial Community Church held a miscellaneous shower Feb. 22.

On Feb. 21, Joel and Jennifer Brock and Albert and Elizabeth Knowles held a lawn and garden shower.

Members of the bride’s family held a miscellaneous shower Feb. 15.

On Jan. 31, Glynda McLaurin and Faye Fisher held a miscellaneous shower in Wade.

The bride’s parents held an engagement party Jan. 17.
