PREP VOLLEYBALL: North Duplin halts two-game slide

NEWTON GROVE -- North Duplin snapped a two-game skid in Carolina 1-A Conference play with a 19-25, 25-19, 25-8, 25-18 triumph over Hobbton on Thursday afternoon.
Cassy King served 11 aces and dished out 22 assists.
Callie Thornton and Gretta Lee cranked out 10 and nine kills, respectively.
Starr Jaco picked up 10 digs on defense, while Thornton and Logan Jones recorded nine digs apiece. Thornton provided two blocks.
The Rebels improved to 5-2 overall.
