PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock earned eight points -- five in singles and three in doubles -- to defeat Southern Wayne 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
Karlyn Ray, Abbie Shackleford, Laney Reeves, Grace Mooring and Abi Wallace each picked up a straight-set singles win.
Ray-Reeves, Shackleford-Mooring and Wallace-Abby Wells swept the doubles for the Golden Falcons.
"After last week's wins, these girls are eager to show their talent," CBA head coach Gene Stancil said. "Their exact words were, 'we're not letting up for anyone.'
"I have to say this was the best Southern Wayne team I've ever seen."
