PREP VOLLEYBALL: Princeton takes 5-setter from South Johnston

PRINCETON -- Senior Kalli Jones served a career-high 22 aces as Princeton escaped county rival South Johnston 21-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19, 15-9 on Wednesday evening.
Harley Parker cranked out 12 kills. Lily Eklund recorded seven kills, followed by Sara Daughtry (five kills) and Hannah Byrd (four kills).
Caroline Daughtry and Madison Massey paced the defense with 14 and 13 digs, respectively. Daughtry and Byrd combined for seven blocks.
Meredith Wooten notched a double-double -- season- and career-high 48 assists and 11 digs.
Princeton (3-2 overall) entertains Hobbton on Tuesday.
