PREP JV DIGEST: Soccer, Volleyball

Boys' soccer: Wayne Country Day 5, Wilson Prep 2 -- Thad Moye led the Chargers' attack with two goals. Max Young, Thomas Gurley and Braxton Rose provided one goal apiece. Gurley, Daniel Sharp, Jack Cole and Meher Hogarty each supplied an assist. Wayne Country Day (2-1-0 overall) travels to Friendship Christian today.
Volleyball: Wilmington Christian d. Faith Christian 25-7, 26-24 -- Elizabeth Sasser led FCA with three aces, two kills and seven digs. Connor Taylor collected one ace and five digs. Other defensive leaders were Kayla Parsons (eight digs), Karsen Spence (10 digs) and Lilly Miller (seven digs). The Crusaders (0-2 overall, 0-2 District 4 East) travel to Rocky Mount next Tuesday to play New Life Christian Academy.
