Wayne Country Day remained perfect on the pitch this season with a 4-2, non-conference conquest of Wilson Christian Academy on Monday afternoon.
Nehemiya Shaw tallied goals off of assists from DJ Drew and Frank Best.
Marquise Newell benefited from a David Gurley assist.
Christian Garloch provided an unassisted goal.
Wayne Country Day (6-0-0 overall) launches defense of its Coastal Plains Independent Conference regular-season title Thursday at league newcomer Friendship Christian. Kickoff is 6 p.m.
