Rosewood served and volleyed its way back into the win column with an 8-1, non-conference win over short-handed Cape Fear Christian Academy on a sun-splashed, fall-like Friday afternoon.
The Eagles posted five shutouts in contested matches and drew a forfeit on the No. 6 singles court.
Riley Maldonado, Kailey Hilton and Emily Kornegay each filed an 8-0 decision in singles play. The Nos. 2 and 3 tandems of Kornegay-Kimber Jones and Carlie Hopper-Chantelle Houston each claimed an 8-0 win.
Rosewood's Autumn Heath won 8-1 at No. 4 singles.
The top-seeded duo of Maldonado-Hilton collected an 8-2 win.
