KENLY -- Rosewood rebounded from its season-opening loss in convincing fashion Friday evening.
Six different Eagles accounted for points during a 48-22 romp over North Johnston at Ben Seifert Stadium.
Dhimani Fenty piled up 223 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, and tallied a two-point conversion as the Eagles leveled their overall record at 1-1.
Amrei Atwell added 70 yards and two TDs on eight carries, and one two-point conversion.
Davien Thompson provided a 5-yard TD run.
Quarterback Will Harris completed nine passes for 99 yards and a TD. He tossed three two-point conversion passes. Thompson had three receptions for 52 yards, while Jack White accumulated 26 yards on four catches, and pulled in a pair of two-point conversion passes.
Devin Johnson snared a two-point pass.
"I'm extremely proud of our football team tonight," RHS head coach Robert Britt said. "We overcame adversity through this week and during the game to beat a very good North Johnston team. Our offense did a great job tonight producing big plays and answering North Johnston's scores."
The Eagles entertain Spring Creek on Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Branch Pope Field.
